
We believe that in order to achieve our
goal of TOTAL CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, we must invest in
our employees.
That means providing our employees with
the necessary training and growth opportunities to excel
within our Company . At Grimshaw we have implemented compulsory
pre-employment training for both drivers and dock workers.
We feel that the upgrading our employees’ skills
is an ongoing process. Our employees are required to participate
in training seminars through out their career.
In 1997, our employees began participating
in the Business Management Certificate Program. This annual
program offers 175 hours of management training. To date,
21 of our employees have graduated and another six are currently enrolled.
Our commitment to our customers and our
employees has prompted us to initiate a Quality Program.
The program, called “On the Road to Quality” has
29 graduates and another 13 enrolled presently. It is our goal to facilitate
and implement this course to all of our employees.
When an employee successfully completes
a course related to their field at a recognized college
or institution, they qualify to be reimbursed 50% of their
tuition fees.
We are proud of our employees and encourage
them all to further their careers and self-development
